Ever notice how women always stress over weddings? You know why? It's all about the dress.

My friend got married last weekend in a beautiful {but stressful wedding for all involved}. But as a bridesmaid, I didn't have to worry about what I was going to wear. I have another wedding to go to next weekend that I have no idea what I'm going to wear. I'm not a dress girl so I don't have options in the closet and my recent shopping trips have resulted in nothing wearable. See what I'm talking about when I say stress?

I wish I could just call up a stylist like a Hollywood starlet. Life would be so much easier.

But, honestly, it's usually not. I'm lucky enough to absolutely LOVE the dress I'm wearing in my friend's wedding next weekend. Very lucky. I've been to several weddings in years past that I've actually been a little surprised and appalled by the bride's choice in dress. They were definitely not re-wearable. I'm thankful that my dress next weekend is a gorgeous midnight purple that I will definitely put on again.

Stella's Style

I'm a huge fan of her dad but I have to say, Stella McCartney has much better style. {Especially when you consider the Sgt Peppers costume disaster.}

I absolutely love Stella's Autumn line. It's so fabulous, I wish I could afford to buy all of it. {Or any of it.}

Oh, Mrs. Robinson

I love Masaya Kuroki's new line that uses Ben Braddock from The Graduate as inspiration. Great classic styles, plus, I'm kind of digging the nerd feel that I get from these designs. Check out more on The Pipeline blog.

Now, if only someone would design a line based on Diane Keaton in Annie Hall. That would be amazing. I wish I could put outfits together like her character.

My Kind of Fashion

I was just looking at Vogue.com's latest '10 Best Dressed' for the week and I disagree with most of the choices, as usual. I don't know if I have a terrible sense of fashion or what, but most of the dresses strutting down the red carpet I wouldn't wear around my house.

Here are some of the ladies on my best-dressed list (ball gowns or sweats): Reese Witherspoon, Mandy Moore, Diane Keaton, Zoey Deschanel, Carrie Underwood and Anne Hathaway.

Most of these ladies have a very classy, yet funky style that I love AND suprise, suprise... these are all women that I really like too.

Men seldom make passes, At Girls Who Wear Glasses

So I hurt my eyes and am now forced to wear my glasses rather than my contacts for a while... very unusual for me. I'm just not sure I can pull glasses off like other people. I am so jealous of girls actually make them look attractive. (Men look even better with a pair of specs on.)
