ice skating escapades

saturday night i fully intended to make a fool of myself. i went ice skating for the first time in about 10 years with my friend. i told him it was a goal of mine this year to learn to play hockey so he suggested starting with skating. i would have put money on my falling at least 10 times, but surprisingly, i didn't fall once. i actually did pretty well. i was weaving in and out of the crowd and dodging falling children.

hockey may be in my future yet. with a lot of practice.
